Combine faux flowers and greenery with natural accents to create a napkin ring for your next holiday meal. We'll show you how to make and style a showstopping napkin ring you can use year after year.
Faux florals and pretty natural accents make for beautiful tabletop decor. All you need is a collection of colorful flowers, crafts wire and florists tape. It's so easy, you'll have a whole set finished in just a few minutes. We love the way they're styled with neutral dishware and a twine wrapping.
Cut a 16" piece of crafts wire using wire cutters or heavy-duty scissors. Then choose a faux flower as the main bloom in your arrangement; cut the stem down to a few inches and begin taping it to the wire with florists tape. Wrap the tape tightly to completely cover the wire.
When you've wrapped tape a few inches down from the flower, add pieces of faux foliage and accents like faux berries. Continue adding and wrapping with tape until all stems are securely attached to the wire, then trim excess tape.
Position finished faux floral arrangement on top of a napkin as desired. Attach it by wrapping wire several times around napkin. If the green of the florists tape contrasts too much with a lighter napkin, wrap twine or ribbon around the center to hide the tape. Set the table using a complete set of floral napkin rings; we love how the colors pop on neutral dinnerware!
