5. Layer on the Texture
When it comes to food styling, my favorite prop is the food itself. Coarse granules of sea salt and pepper, bits of herbs, and thinly sliced onions -- pile these garnishes on, and don't be afraid to get a little messy. These final touches will create beautiful built-in texture.
