Melted between a graham cracker, collected in a Halloween basket, or stocked in the pantry, Hershey products have made their mark on America. With summer approaching, Hershey decided to make an ode to the country that gave it so much. Available for a limited time only, the 'Flavors of America' collection puts a patriotic spin on their most classic products. Inspired by states from the east coast to the west, these summer flavors take your taste buds on a roadtrip. We got a sneak peek at the new products and are excited to share our thoughts.
Break out the hula skirts and the flower-adorned necklaces. This bag of tropical Hershey's Kisses will take you all the way to Hawaii. A whole almond sits in the middle of a coconut-flavored creme. Smooth, crunchy, salty, and sweet, this was a product we could see ourselves reaching for year-round.
Thanks to a talking mouse and gorgeous beaches, many families flock to Florida in the summer months. If 2017 isn't your year, you can still get a taste of the sunshine state with these Key Lime Pie Twizzlers. Soft and filled with a tart lime center, this neon treat will wake up your senses. While it wasn't a crowd favorite for us, true key lime pie fans will appreciate the try.
Florida is such a big summer destination, they landed two products on Hershey's line-up. Florida's state fruit inspired this flavor of Twizzlers with a smooth orange cream filling. Upon the first bite, our taste buds were instantly reminded of a dripping orange-flavored ice cream treat melting down our hands... but without the mess!
As classic as the original Hershey Bar, cherry cheesecake in New York is a staple. Combine the two together to get a white cream bar with pink cookie crust pieces blended in. We recommend snapping this one in half and sharing with friends; While the cherry flavor is true to its name, a whole bar would be a bit overwhelming for your taste buds.
Everyone knows you can't go to Texas and not order BBQ. In this upgraded PayDay, bold flavor dusts the peanuts that surround the chewy caramel center. This one had us scratching our heads, but it turned out to be a unanimous thumbs up! We guess everything really is bigger and better in Texas.
Hershey promises hints of floral, amber, and molasses in this treat inspired by the sweet Georgia lifestyle. This seemed like the most natural fit in the flavor line-up, and our senses agree. If you love Reese's, you will be able to detect the honey flavor in this upgraded peanut butter. Although, nothing can top the original for us.
In the summer we find ourselves dreaming of California strawberry fields. The latest Kit Kat bar takes us there with strawberry cream melted between crispy wafers. Pretty in pink and familiar with that signature snap, this treat was a favorite amongst the BH&G taste panel.
