If you make too much pasta, freeze it and use it later in a soup.
- Store dried, uncooked pasta unopened in its original package or in a sealed storage bag in a cool, dry place. It will last almost indefinitely.
- Store fresh or refrigerated pasta in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days or in the freezer up to eight months.
- Pasta will continue to absorb flavors and oils from sauces, so store cooked pasta and sauce separately.
