Quick and Easy Ants on a Log Snack -- It's Savory!
Remember your Mom's ants on a log? Well, this hummus and sun-dried tomato version is totally grown up but still low-calorie (four logs are only 95 calories!).
[MUSIC] Do you remember when your mom used to make you eat ants on a log? Well, we've all grown up. Since then. Now we can eat something much better, with these new ants on a log with humus, sun dried tomatoes and feta cheese. First you need to wash and cut up some celery stocks. I like pieces about 3 inches long, but it's your snack, make it however long you want. Now take a jar of oil packed dried tomatoes, take a few out and chop them up nice and small. Next, we have some garlic humus sitting in the fridge, so we'll use that instead of peanut butter. Spread about two teaspoons of humus over your celery, then top your humus with the tomatoes. Of course, you can't have dried tomatoes without a little feta cheese. Crumble up a bit of feta cheese with your hands and sprinkle it on top. And there you have it, ants on a log. That don't make you feel like a kid. [MUSIC]
