Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper; set aside. In a large mixing bowl beat the cookie dough, 2 ounces of the melted white chocolate, and the flour with an electric mixer on low to medium speed until combined (use hands, if necessary).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8-inch thickness. Using 2 1/2- to 3-inch cookie cutters, cut into desired shapes. Place cutouts 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets. Using a 1/4-inch round cutter, cut circles from larger cutouts. Fill cutout openings with crushed candies, even with the top of the cutout. Using a straw, cut one small hole in the top of the cutout.
  3. Bake for 6 to 7 minutes or until edges are light brown. If necessary, use straw to recut the small hole. Cool completely on cookie sheets on a wire rack. Carefully peel cooled cookies from parchment. Drizzle with remaining melted white chocolate and sprinkle lightly with grated white chocolate. Let stand until set.

Layer cookies between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight container; cover. Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
