Two red-hued fruits combine to make a pretty drink recipe you'll make on repeat all summer. The straining step eliminates pesky seeds from the drink.
In a blender combine 3 cups watermelon, 1 cup raspberries, and 1/4 cup basil. Blend until smooth. Pour through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on solids to release juice. Transfer juice to a 2-quart pitcher. Repeat twice with remaining watermelon, raspberries, and basil. Chill, covered, at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. Serve over ice with additional raspberries and basil. Makes 6 cups.
