I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit with my family. I'm serving it today....Christmas! 2017! Best green bean casserole ever!

Nice variation of a classic recipe. I use cream of celery and dried shiitake mushrooms in my recipe instead of cream of mushroom. I like the use of yogurt and the breadcrumbs are a nice change from the fried onion traditionally used.

I would bet that there are copyright issues at play, but I don't know anyone who thinks that green bean casserole is authentic without french fried onions on top.
