Preheat oven to 350°F. In an ungreased 2-quart casserole combine lentil soup, black beans, mushrooms, carrots, corn, uncooked barley, uncooked bulgur, onion, pepper, and salt; stir in the water.
Cover and bake about 1-1/4 hours or until barley and bulgur are tender, stirring twice. Stir again; sprinkle with cheese. Cover; let stand about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
