Hummus + ice cream is the dessert mashup you never knew you needed to try! It's as easy as combining ingredients in a food processor and freezing. And, as long as you're sure your chocolate ingredients are free of animal products, it's an excellent vegan dessert recipe.




  • Combine all ingredients through vanilla the bowl of a food processor. Process until smooth, adding water as needed. Season to taste with salt.

  • Transfer mixture to an air-tight plastic container. Freeze for 2 hours. Serve with cinnamon-sugar pita chips, green apple slices, and chocolate chips, if desired. (If freezing overnight, let stand 20 minutes for easier scooping.)
