Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoon raw sugar

  • 2 teaspoon unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder, such as Droste

  • 2 cup oat milk or milk

  • 2 cup prepared espresso

Directions

  1. Divide sugar and cocoa powder between two large mugs. In a small saucepan heat oat milk over medium 3 minutes or until warmed. Remove from heat and pour prepared espresso into oat milk.

  2. Add four or five spoonfuls of the espresso mixture to each mug; stir until sugar and cocoa are dissolved. Pour remaining espresso mixture into mugs. Serves 2.

Tips

Ubi uses/recommends a 6-cup Bialetti Moka Express stovetop espresso maker (for 2 cups of espresso). He uses Coffee Red Bay Coffee (Brazilian Cake Lady) and grinds it down to extra-fine (Turkish/espresso).
