Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric or 1 tablespoon grated fresh turmeric

  • 2 ½ cup water

  • 3 2 12-inch cinnamon sticks

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan combine all ingredients; heat over medium heat until simmering. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Strain into serving cups.
