Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine greens and the 1/4 cup salad dressing; toss to coat. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl combine olive oil and minced garlic. Lightly brush the top side of each bread shell with the oil mixture. Place bread shells, oiled sides up, on a very large baking sheet or two large baking sheets. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until bread shells are lightly browned (if using 2 sheets, broil 1 sheet at a time).
  3. Top bread shells with turkey and sweet peppers. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil about 2 minutes more or until cheese melts. Top with greens. If desired, pass additional salad dressing. Makes 4 servings.
