New holiday tradition. I loved the sound of this recipe and was not disappointed. Biggest hit of my annual cookie tin. The ultimate gingerbread cookie. Perfectly sweet with just a hit of spice from the candied ginger folded into the batter at the end (like chips). The recipe gave me me the flexibility to scale up the powdered ginger and cloves - so I did. My family loved the punch of spice. The. Best.
