Toasted Oat Muesli with Banana


This homemade muesli makes for a healthy and delicious breakfast cereal. Toasted muesli, almonds, flax seeds, and banana chips combined make the best banana granola recipe you've ever tasted! Serve over fat-free milk for a guilt-free breakfast.

  • 1 ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup sliced almonds, coarsely chopped

  • 3 tablespoon flaxseeds

  • ½ cup dried banana chips and/or raisins

  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice or ground cinnamon

  • 3 ½ cup fat-free milk


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread oats evenly in a 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake for 8 minutes. Stir in almonds and flaxseeds. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes more or until oats are light brown and almonds are toasted, stirring once.

  2. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Add banana chips and allspice; stir to combine. Serve with milk.

To Make Ahead:

Place muesli in an airtight container; cover. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
