Sweet Potato Farro

Directions

  1. In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker combine the first nine ingredients (through salt). Cover and cook on low for 7 1/2 to 8 hours or on high for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
  2. Stir in maple syrup and sage. If desired, top servings with poached eggs. Sprinkle with pepper.
