Rose Syrup
In a medium saucepan stir together 2 cups sugar and 11/4 cups water. Bring to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in 2 Tbsp. bottled rose water (mixture will foam). Simmer, uncovered, 8 minutes more or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool. Pour into a clean, dry bottle; seal tightly. Refrigerate up to 1 month. Makes about 2 cups.
