Directions

  1. Line a 3-1/2 or 4-quart slow cooker with a disposable slow cooker liner. Place meat in prepared cooker. Add water, undrained cabbage, drained beets, and onion soup mix to cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or on high-heat setting for 4 to 5 hours. Ladle soup into bowls. Top with sour cream. Makes 6 main-dish servings (8 cups).
