  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a 10-inch oven-going skillet melt butter over medium-low heat; remove skillet from heat. Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla; cool for 5 minutes.

  • Whisk egg into mixture in skillet. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until smooth. Quickly stir in chocolate chunks. Press dough into an even layer in skillet.

  • Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until surface is golden brown but center is still soft. Cool in skillet on a wire rack. Cut into wedges.
