Fudgy Brownies ½ cup butter 3 ounce unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla ⅔ cup all-purpose flour ¼ teaspoon baking soda Creamy White Frosting 1 cup shortening 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla ½ teaspoon almond extract 4 cup powdered sugar 3 tablespoon milk Chocolate Frosting ¼ cup butter or margarine 3 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder 3 tablespoon buttermilk 2 ¼ cup sifted powdered sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla ½ cup chopped walnuts Directions Bake brownies in a lined 13x9-inch pan; let cool. Frost the cake with Creamy White Frosting or Chocolate Frosting. Dye the frosting to change the color of the shirt. Create the collar and pocket with a darker shade of frosting, and use melted white chocolate to form the necktie. For a striped tie, use decorating gel icing or licorice. Add candy-coated milk chocolate pieces for the collar and pocket buttons. Fudgy Brownies In a medium saucepan heat and stir butter and unsweetened chocolate over low heat until smooth; set aside to cool. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8x2-inch baking pan with foil, leaving about 1 inch of the foil extending over the ends of pan. Grease foil; set pan aside. Stir the sugar into the cooled chocolate mixture. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating with a wooden spoon just until combined. Stir in vanilla. In a small bowl stir together the flour and baking soda. Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture; stir just until combined. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Remove brownies from pan, using the overlapping foil to lift brownies. Creamy White Frosting In a large mixing bowl beat shortening, vanilla, and almond extract with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Gradually add 2 cups of the powdered sugar, beating well. Add 2 tablespoons of the milk. Gradually beat in remaining powdered sugar. Gradually add milk until frosting reaches a spreading consistency. Makes about 3 cups. Chocolate Frosting In a medium saucepan stir together butter or margarine, unsweetened cocoa powder, and buttermilk. Cook and stir until boiling; remove from heat.
