In a large skillet stir together rice mix, the water, butter, and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in shrimp into rice mixture. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes more or until shrimp turn opaque. Remove from heat. Stir in peas. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with tomato before serving. Makes 4 servings.
