- In a medium mixing bowl stir together egg and stuffing mix. Add drained salmon and mix well. Shape into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
- In a large skillet cook patties in hot oil over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until brown. Carefully turn and cook about 2 minutes more or until brown.
- Top with cheese slices. Remove skillet from heat. Let cheese melt over burgers.
- Serve each patty on a hamburger bun with lettuce and tomato, if desired. Top with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, or catsup. Makes 4 servings.
