Directions

  1. Thaw fish, if frozen. Rinse fish; pat dry with paper towels. Place fish in a shallow, nonmetallic dish. For marinade, in a small bowl combine teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, ginger, brown sugar, ground red pepper, and garlic. Pour over fish; turn fish to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours, turning fish occasionally. Drain fish, reserving marinade.
  2. Coat the unheated rack of a broiler pan with cooking spray. Place fish on the prepared rack. Broil about 4 inches from the heat for 8 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, turning and brushing once with reserved marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. If desired, garnish the fish with cilantro. Makes 4 servings.
