  • In a medium saucepan combine chicken broth, sweet potato, carrots, and onion. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat; cool slightly.

Makes about 12 (1/4-cup) servings or 3 cups total.


Prepare gravy as above. Cover and chill in the refrigerator up to 3 days. To serve, transfer gravy to a medium saucepan; heat through over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
