Jumpin' Ginger Butter
- In a small mixing bowl stir together the butter, green onion, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce. Cover; chill until almost firm, allowing about 1 hour in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in the freezer.
- On plastic wrap or waxed paper, shape the chilled mixture with a knife into two 4-inch-long logs. Fold wrap over logs and push logs into round shapes, using one hand to keep the plastic wrap taut while the other hand does the shaping. Wrap logs in the plastic wrap. If necessary, chill again and roll logs until smooth. Rewrap the logs; chill until serving time. To serve, cut the logs into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
