Directions

  1. In a saucepan mix brown sugar, maple syrup, and water. Bring to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add cranberries. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes or until cranberry skins pop, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in orange peel. Serve warm or chilled with roast poultry, pork, or ham. Makes about 1-3/4 cups (twenty-eight 1-tablespoon servings).
