Directions

  1. In a blender container or food processor bowl combine raisins and orange juice. Cover and blend or process with several on-off turns (do not grind). Add almonds; cover and blend or process with several on-off turns until chopped. Set aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add raisin mixture and orange peel; stir until combined. Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Serve at room temperature. Makes 1 cup.

Wash and dry the bowl and lid. Avoid touching the areas to be painted. Use paints and a paintbrush to enhance the bowls established design. Use as many or as few colors as you desire. To make tiny dots, dip the handle end of a paintbrush into paints and dot onto the bowl. Let the paint dry. Bake the painted glassware in the oven if instructed by the paint manufacturer. Let cool.
