Ham on Biscuits with Red-Eye Gravy

A two-to-one mix of coffee and chicken broth is all you need to whip up our easy red eye gravy recipe. Drizzle it inside these ham biscuits for a savory diner-inspired brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuits

  • leftover center-cut ham slices

  • ½ cup strong coffee

  • ¼ cup chicken broth

Directions

  1. Bake tube of refrigerated biscuits according to package directions.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Brown ham slice well on both sides. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

  3. Add coffee and chicken broth to skillet. Bring to a boil and continue to boil until slightly thickened.

  4. Serve ham and gravy on sliced hot biscuits.
