Very Berry Salad

Use only four ingredients to get this summer-fresh strawberry and spinach salad on the table in 15 minutes.

  • 1 6 ounce package fresh baby spinach

  • 1 cup whole or sliced almonds, toasted

  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese (4 ounces)

  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

  • 1 recipe Poppy Seed Dressing (see recipe, below)

Poppy Seed Dressing

  • cup bottled balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing

  • ¼ teaspoon poppy seed

  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


  1. 1. Combine spinach, almonds, cheese, and strawberries in large salad bowl. Pour dressing over lettuce mixture; gently toss to coat. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Poppy Seed Dressing

  1. Combine the salad dressing, poppy seed, and black pepper. Makes 1/3 cup.
