Toss together cabbage mixture, red cabbage (if using), apples, dried fruit bits, and pecans in a large mixing bowl.
For dressing, combine yogurt and nutmeg. Pour dressing over apple mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately, or cover and chill for up to 4 hours. Garnish with apple slices and Italian parsley, if desired. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
