  • For dressing, in a small bowl stir together mayonnaise dressing or salad dressing, lime peel, lime juice, salt, and ground red pepper. Pour dressing over salad, tossing to coat. Serve at once. Sprinkle with peanuts if desired. Makes 4 servings.


Prepare salad as directed, except cover and chill for up to 2 hours. Just before serving, stir the salad and sprinkle with peanuts.
