Festive Apple Slaw
- Prepare Apple Cider Vinaigrette. Cover and chill until needed.
- In a large salad bowl gently combine apples, cabbage, grapes, celery, and slivered almonds.
- Remove vinaigrette from refrigerator; shake well. Pour dressing over salad, tossing to coat. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Serve salad in individual serving bowls. Makes 6 to 8 side-dish servings.
Apple Cider Vinaigrette
- In a screw-top jar combine apple cider vinegar, salad oil, and honey. Cover; shake well. Makes about 1/2 cup.
