Directions

  1. Place cucumbers and green onion in serving bowl; set aside. For dressing, combine lemon juice, sesame oil, soy sauce, and ground red pepper in medium bowl. Stir dressing into cucumber and onion until well-coated. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately. Makes 6 side-dish servings.

To toast sesame seeds, sprinkle them evenly in the bottom of a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden, stirring twice.
