Crunchy Mandarin Orange Salad

In 15 minutes, this easy dinner salad with cashews and ramen noodles is ready to eat.

  • 1 10 ounce package mixed salad greens

  • 1 11 ounce can mandarin orange sections (juice pack), drained

  • 1 3 ounce package ramen noodles, crushed and seasoning packet removed

  • 1 cup dry roasted cashews

  • 1 recipe Asian Ginger BBQ Dressing (see recipe, below)

Asian Ginger BBQ Dressing

  • cup bottled sesame ginger marinade

  • 3 tablespoon bottled honey barbecue sauce (or 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce plus 1 tablespoon honey)

  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (or 1/8 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce)


  1. 1. Combine salad greens, mandarin oranges, noodles, and cashews in large salad bowl. Pour dressing over salad greens mixture; gently toss to coat. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.

Asian Ginger BBQ Dressing

  1. Combine the sesame ginger marinade, honey barbecue sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving, if desired. Makes 1 cup.
