Christmas Wreath Salad
- Discard outer layers of fennel; slice fennel into thin strips, discarding core. Halve sweet peppers lengthwise; remove seeds. Slice peppers into thin half rings.
- Arrange lettuce and watercress on a serving plate or six salad plates. Arrange fennel and peppers on greens.
- For dressing, combine oil, vinegar, fennel seed, salt, and pepper in a screw-top jar. Cover and shake well to mix. Drizzle dressing over salad. Makes 6 servings.
