Directions

  1. In large bowl, dissolve gelatin in the boiling water. Stir in cranberry sauce, beating lightly with a wire whisk or rotary beater until smooth. Add sour cream, beating until combined. Chill about 45 minutes or until partially set (the consistency of unbeaten egg whites). If desired, fold in nuts.
  2. Turn into a 5- or 6-cup mold or an 8x8x2-inch baking dish. Cover and chill at least 4 hours or until set. To serve, unmold (if using a mold) or cut into squares. Makes 8 to 10 side-dish servings.
