Your pup deserves homemade treats, too! These cheesy-bacon dog biscuits will definitely give them something to wag their tails over.
In a large bowl beat banana, egg, and almond butter with a mixer on low until combined. Beat in bacon and cheese. Beat in rice flour. Cover and let stand 10 to 20 minutes. (Dough will get firmer as it stands.)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. On a surface lightly dusted with brown rice flour, roll dough until 1/4 inch thick. If desired, sprinkle lightly with additional bacon pieces and cheese; roll lightly to adhere. Using 2- to 3-inch cookie cutters, cut dough into desired shapes. Place cutouts on prepared baking sheet.
Bake 14 to 18 minutes or until firm and edges are light brown. Remove; cool on a wire rack.
Place biscuits in an airtight container. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.
