In small saucepan stir together dried cherries, water, lemon juice, and sugar. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 4 to 5 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Stir in almonds, cilantro, and juniper berries. Cool. Store in refrigerator up to 24 hours. Makes 1 cup relish.
