Directions

  1. In medium skillet cook apple, shallots, brown sugar, and cloves in the hot oil over medium heat about 3 minutes or just until tender. Add blackberries; reduce heat. Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring often. Cool. Store in refrigerator up to 24 hours. Makes about 1 cup relish.
