  • In a large saucepan combine potatoes, 1/4 tsp. of the salt, and enough cold water to cover. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, 15 minutes or just until potatoes are tender. Drain well; cool slightly.

  • Meanwhile, for dressing, in a large bowl combine mayonnaise, ranch dressing, herbs, and remaining 1/2 tsp. salt. Stir in celery and onion. Add potatoes and eggs; stir gently to coat. Cover and chill at least 6 hours (up to 24 hours). If desired, top with additional herbs.
