In a 6-qt. electric or stove-top pressure cooker place the first eight ingredients (through pepper). Top with chicken. Pour chicken broth over all. Stir in uncooked, frozen noodles. Lock lid in place. Set an electric cooker on high pressure to cook 8 minutes. For a stove-top cooker, bring up to pressure over medium-high heat ; reduce heat enough to maintain steady (but not excessive) pressure. Cook 8 minutes. Remove from heat. For both models, let stand to release pressure naturally for 15 minutes. Release any remaining pressure. Open lid carefully.
Remove chicken; cool slightly. Remove and discard bay leaf. Remove chicken from bones. Chop chicken; return to cooker. Add peas and lemon juice. For a electric cooker use the saute setting to heat through. For a stove-top cooker heat through over medium heat.
