Directions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl stir together milk, carrot, green onions, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and dash pepper. Add ground meat; mix well. Shape the mixture into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Grill or broil.

To Grill:

  1. Place patties on an uncovered grill, directly over medium-hot coals about 12 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a patty registers 165 degrees F, turning the patties halfway through the cooking time.
  2. Serve patties on buns with lettuce leaves, shredded zucchini, sliced tomato, and Curry Mustard, if desired. Makes 4 servings.

To Broil:

Arrange the patties on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat about 12 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a patty registers 165 degrees F, turning once during cooking.
