In a medium saucepan, combine tomatoes, catsup, onion, cilantro, and 2 teaspoons curry powder. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Combine egg, bread crumbs, cilantro, ginger, garlic, salt, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, and pepper in a large bowl. Add turkey and mix well. Form into four 3/4-inch-thick patties. (If mixture is sticky, moisten your hands with water.) Lightly grease grill rack.
