Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta; rinse with cold water. Drain again.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine cooked pasta, cheese, smoked turkey or ham, cucumber, red or green sweet pepper, and green onions.
  3. For dressing, in a small mixing bowl stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing, sour cream or yogurt, honey, mustard, and pepper. Pour dressing over pasta mixture. Toss to coat. Cover and chill for 4 to 24 hours.
  4. If necessary, stir milk into pasta mixture before serving. If desired, line individual salad plates with lettuce leaves. Serve pasta mixture on lettuce-lined plates. Makes 4 main-dish servings.
