Good but I have a pet peeve about recipes that don't list all ingredients (i,e, the salt for the cupcakes) and don't indicate when an ingredient is divided (the vanilla goes in cupcakes and frosting)!
My daughter and I made these yesterday and we had so much fun doing it - we are not what you would call experience bakers but we did it and they came out amazing! If we can do it then anyone can. And the taste - hands down the best cupcake I have ever had!
These made a great moist cupcake and delicious frosting. I used just a little of the caramel sauce in the frosting to help bring the Bailey's flavor forward a bit. Definitely worth the work.
These were really good. I did not add sprinkles in the middle of the cupcakes but I did put some on top and I dyed the frosting green. The gold cupcake liners are worth it, they made them look so beautiful. I made the batter exactly as written and they were perfect- moist and very chocolatey. I added 4 tablespoons of Irish cream and 2 tablespoons of cream, and left out the caramel/butterscotch. So good! Received many compliments :)
These came out really delicious, although I admit I reduced the sugar and caramel sauce a little bit. The chocolate flavor is really deep and decadent and the texture was nice and dense. I may add a wee bit more Guinness next time too but they were overall great. Perfect for my husband's St. Paddy's Birthday and that is his favorite beer.
