Preheat oven to 375 degree F. Grease a 9-inch pie plate. Unroll crescent rolls and press into bottom and onto side of the prepared pie plate. If desired, mark the edge of the pastry with the tines of a fork. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven.
Sprinkle ham and cheese over the pastry. In a small bowl beat eggs with a wire whisk; whisk in evaporated milk and mustard. Pour egg mixture over ham and cheese. Cover edge of pastry with foil. Bake in the 375 degree F oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. If desired, sprinkle with almonds. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
