Directions

  1. Prepare Basic Crepe batter as directed, adding five-spice powder and turmeric. Make crepes as directed.
  2. Toss pork, coleslaw mix, and half of the hoisin sauce together in a mixing bowl. Fill crepes with pork mixture. Warm filled crepes in microwave oven, if desired.
  3. Arrange crepes on individual plates on beds of fresh chives, if desired. Drizzle with remaining hoisin sauce. Makes 12 crepes.

Season the basic crepe batter with any of the following: 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed; 1/2 teaspoon curry powder; 1/2 teaspoon dried sage, crushed; or 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper.
