Trim sprouts and discard any discolored outer leaves. Halve large sprouts. In a covered medium saucepan, cook sprouts in a small amount of boiling, salted water for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. Drain; rinse under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes or just until cooked through but not crisp. Drain off fat. Reduce heat to medium-low.
Add sprouts, thyme, salt, and pepper to bacon in skillet. Cook about 2 minutes or until sprouts are heated through. Makes 8 servings.
