Ingredients

  • 6 ounce white candy coating disks

  • 6 ounce blue candy coating disks

  • 6 ounce red candy coating disks

  • 1 cup red, white, and blue-colored candy-coated chocolate pieces

  • ½ cup chopped pretzel pieces or kettle-cooked potato chips

  • ¼ cup assorted sprinkles

Directions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with heavy foil; grease foil and set aside.

  2. In three separate microwave-safe bowls melt each color candy coating on 100 percent power (high) for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.

  3. Pour all three mixtures onto the prepared baking sheet. Using a skewer or butter knife, gently swirl colors together. Spread to about 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle candy, pretzels, and sprinkles over mixture on baking sheet, pressing lightly.

  4. Chill candy until firm, about 30 minutes. Use foil to lift candy from baking sheet; carefully break candy into pieces. Store candy between layers of waxed paper in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
