Top with half of the spinach mixture and 3 more uncooked noodles. Spoon another third of the meat sauce over the second layer of noodles; top with remaining spinach mixture. Place the last 3 noodles on and spoon remaining meat on top.

  • Slowly pour hot water into dish around the edges. cover dish tightly with foil and bake in a 375 degree F oven for 40 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with mozzarella or provolone cheese. Bake, uncovered, about 15 minutes more or until noodles are tender and casserole is bubbly around the edges. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cut into squares to serve. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Tips

Cover the unbaked lasagne with plastic wrap and chill for up to 24 hours. Before baking, uncover the dish and add the hot water, increasing it to 1-1/3 cups.
